Looks like this may be the Luna Moth Caterpillar...
I should add that my brilliant observations on this critter are not, in fact, due to my insane caterpillar expertise, but because I googled "neon green large caterpillar in ontario". Yes, I know, I am a genius.
What on earth did we do pre-google, may I ask??
We get Luna Moths here too and I think they are so beautiful!
