Yarn Along

Joining Ginny this week ~

Simple read & a "simple" knit.
The washcloth is from the very beautiful book The Knitter's Year by Debbie Bliss. Hilariously (but probably only to me), the book says "this textured washcloth takes less than an hour to make" and yes, I am only working on it during brief pockets of time but still, this would be my 3rd(?) day!
The yarn is Debbie Bliss Eco Baby in gray.

The magazine? Well... not exactly a read, more an inspirational viewing as my french language skills are sadly, worse than poor. If you have never looked at this mag, find it. It's something special.

  1. Sounds like a great book Janie and don't worry about the time frame, just enjoy the process.

    1. So true Tracey!
It's just funny (or maybe sad) how poor my french is considering I've been learning it in school for YEARS!

  3. Marie Claire Idees is my all time favorite magazine. I wish they would translate it and sell it overseas. Totally worthwhile.

    1. They should SO translate it!! That would be awesome. For now, I'm pretty content looking at the beautiful pictures. Even with a great english mag, I often just stare at the photos instead of reading!

    1. Oh, love the peg holder too. Need a clothesline first! Need yard space for a clothesline even more first!! The yarn is really lovely (sadly my local yarn shop closed, and happily they had a BIG sale!).
