Hexagons

Something new, and lovely came in the mail last week. Possibly to steer me from my over-ambitious queen sized english paper-pieced quilt dreams. :)

I picked up  my copy of this Japanese sewing book here. It has 21 projects in it.

I love a portable project!

  1. Those look like some wonderful projects.
I remember my mom making a quilt out to little hexagon shapes and now I am wondering whatever happened to it?!
    Have a great day.

  4. I love the tea cozy! A nice modern twist on an old quilting pattern! I assume one sews all these little pieces together by hand?

    1. Yes, the hexagons are all hand-stitched together to create your "fabric", which you can then make a whole lot of amazing things with!
